Eligibility Criteria for State Law Office Recruitment 2026

Nationality: Persons interested in applying for this recruitment must be a Kenyan citizen who possess the current National Identity Card or Passport.

Integrity: In accordance to chapter 6 of the constitution, candidates shortlisted shall provide clearance certificates from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB), Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA), Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Ethics Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), and Credit Reference Bureau etc.

Qualification: Applicant should possess the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with at least D+ mean grade or equivalent qualification. Higher academic and professional qualifications are also required.

Age Range: Interested applicant must be within 18 and 35 years of age.

Personal Attributes: Candidates applying must be self-aware, ICT inclined, good team player, possess strong interpersonal and communication skills. Very importantly, must have a criminal-free background.

Qualifications for Appointment

1. Accountant II

• Prospective applicant must have either a Degree in Commerce, Business Administration or had a pass in Part II of the Certified Public Accountants (CPA) examination.
• Candidate must have good record management skills, ability follow instructions closely, and be able to get well with diverse workforce.

2. Public Communication Officer II

• Candidates interested in this position must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Communication Studies, Media Studies or a closely related discipline.

3. Clerical Officer II

• Prospective applicant of this recruitment exercise must hold KCSE with at least C- (minus) mean grade and also a proficiency certificate in relevant computer packages.
