Qualification for Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Recruitment 2025
1. Programme Coordinator
- Prospective applicant of this position must have a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in either Agriculture, Economics, Project Management or a closely related discipline.
- Those with specialist training in Agriculture and Post graduate qualification in project management have an advantage.
- Candidates applying must have worked professionally for a minimum period of 15 years.
- Should possess strong analytical skills, sound judgement, resourcefulness and process facilitation.
2. Monitoring, Evaluation and Knowledge Management Specialist
- Interested applicant must possess first degree in either Statistics, Population Studies or a closely relevant discipline.
- Must have at least 7 years of relevant work experience.
- Should have a relevant work experience in research studies.
- Must be conversant with analysis software such as SAS, SPSS, and Advanced Excel etc.
- Applicant must possess good oral and written communication skills.
3. Financial Controller
- Prospective candidates of this position must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or Commerce.
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K).
- Be a registered and active member of relevant professional body.
- Possess a minimum of seven (7) years relevant professional work experience.
- Must have experience working with accounting software, electronic spreadsheets and financial reporting tools.
- Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Should be proficient in relevant Microsoft office and accounting packages etc.
4. Agripreneurs
- Candidates interested in this position must fall within 18 – 35 years of age/
- Shall submit copies of educational certificates according to the incubation category .e. Standard/Accelerator.
- Candidate shall submit a one (1) page business proposal that will concise but punchy.
- Must have a business premises, office space and land for production location.
- Must be able to spot specific target audience for the product or service selected.
5. ENABLE Youth Kenya Program
- Candidates interested in this position must fall within 18 – 35 years of age.
- Shall submit copies of educational certificates according to the incubation category .e. Standard/Accelerator.
- Candidate shall submit a one (1) page business proposal that will concise but punchy.
- Must have a business premises, office space and land for production location.
- Must be able to spot specific target audience for the product or service selected.
6. Veterinary Internship Programme
- Candidates applying for this program must possess a Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or Certificate in either Veterinary Medicine, Animal Health Production etc.
- Candidate must have graduated from a tertiary institution recognized by the Kenya Veterinary Board.
- He or she must not have benefited from previous Kenya Veterinary Board internship.
7. Livestock Production Assistant II
- To get selected for this position, you must hold a Certificate or Diploma in Animal Health and Production, Dairy Technology, Animal Science or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
8. Animal Health Assistant II
- Interested applicants must possess a Certificate or Diploma in Animal Health, Environmental Health, Animal Health and Production etc. from an accredited institution.
- Candidate must be registered with the Kenya Veterinary Board.
