Eligibility for Ministry of Agriculture Recruitment 2025

1. Programme Coordinator

Prospective applicant of this position must have a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in either Agriculture, Economics, Project Management or a closely related discipline.
Those with specialist training in Agriculture and Post graduate qualification in project management have an advantage.
Candidates applying must have worked professionally for a minimum period of 15 years.
Should possess strong analytical skills, sound judgement, resourcefulness and process facilitation.

2. Monitoring, Evaluation and Knowledge Management Specialist

Interested applicant must possess first degree in either Statistics, Population Studies or a closely relevant discipline.
Must have at least 7 years of relevant work experience.
Should have a relevant work experience in research studies.
Must be conversant with analysis software such as SAS, SPSS, and Advanced Excel etc.
Applicant must possess good oral and written communication skills.

3. Financial Controller

Prospective candidates of this position must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or Commerce.
Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA-K).
Be a registered and active member of relevant professional body.
Possess a minimum of seven (7) years relevant professional work experience.
Must have experience working with accounting software, electronic spreadsheets and financial reporting tools.
Candidate must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Should be proficient in relevant Microsoft office and accounting packages etc.

4. Agripreneurs

Candidates interested in this position must fall within 18 – 35 years of age/
Shall submit copies of educational certificates according to the incubation category .e. Standard/Accelerator.
Candidate shall submit a one (1) page business proposal that will concise but punchy.
Must have a business premises, office space and land for production location.
Must be able to spot specific target audience for the product or service selected.

5. ENABLE Youth Kenya Program

Candidates interested in this position must fall within 18 – 35 years of age.
Shall submit copies of educational certificates according to the incubation category .e. Standard/Accelerator.
Candidate shall submit a one (1) page business proposal that will concise but punchy.

6. Veterinary Internship Programme

Candidates applying for this program must possess a Bachelor’s degree, Diploma or Certificate in either Veterinary Medicine, Animal Health Production etc.
Candidate must have graduated from a tertiary institution recognized by the Kenya Veterinary Board.
He or she must not have benefited from previous Kenya Veterinary Board internship.

7. Livestock Production Assistant II

To get selected for this position, you must hold a Certificate or Diploma in Animal Health and Production, Dairy Technology, Animal Science or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.

8. Animal Health Assistant II

Interested applicants must possess a Certificate or Diploma in Animal Health, Environmental Health, Animal Health and Production etc. from an accredited institution.
Candidate must be registered with the Kenya Veterinary Board.
Must also be proficient in relevant computer applications.
