The Nyayo Tea Zones Development Corporation (NTZDC) was officially founded in 1986 to function as a State Corporation. The formulation followed a Legal Gazette Notice No. 265 of the same year. Citizenship: Vacancies announced can only be occupied by Kenyan citizens who possess valid National Identity Card or Passport. Residing in the country is a key advantage.
Age: No applicant must be below 18 or above 35 years of age.
KCSE: Possess the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education with at least D+ mean grade and other higher qualifications is pivotal.

Qualifications for NTZDC Job Vacancies 2026/2027

1. Welder/Fabricator

Candidates applying for this role are expected to possess a C (Plain) in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE).
Must have a recognized certificate in craft course.
Should possess at least three (3) or more years of relevant work experience.
Must be conversant with welding, fitting and lubrication etc.

2. Factory Electrician II (Motor Rewinder)

Prospective applicants of this position must possess a Diploma in Electrical Engineering and also have C (plain) in KCSE.
A minimum of three (3) years professional work experience is required.
Candidate must possess good trouble shotting and ICT skills etc.

3. Motor Vehicle Mechanic II

Applicant should hold a valid Driving license, National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and a C plain in KCSE.
Three (3) years’ experience in fleet maintenance is required.

4. Data Clerk II

Interested candidate should possess a Diploma in Information Technology from an accredited institution.
Applicant must have gained at least three (3) years relevant experience.

5. Assistant Accountant II

Ideal candidate for this role must possess a Degree or equivalent qualification such as CPA II.
He or she must have gained at least 3-years of professional experience in accounting sphere.

6. Assistant Production Manager

This post requires candidates who possess Bachelor’s Degree in Food Technology or a closely related discipline.
Candidate must be conversant with the usage of relevant Microsoft Office packages.
