Nyeri County Internship 2026/2027 Application Form, Requirements

The County Government of Nyeri has announce commencement of the 5th internship programme. Eligible youths are encouraged to fill and submit the Nyeri County internship 2026 application form at www.nyeri.go.ke/adinterns.

According to the official advert made by Nyeri County Government, this phase of the internship programme targets a total of 200 vacancies across diverse departments of the Public Service Board.

Interested and eligible candidates can fill the internship application form and submit alongside copies of relevant documents/certificates either online or offline at the Public Service Board office.

Note: The Nyeri internship application form is free of charge. No candidate is or shall be requested to make payment. Sequel to this, canvassing shall result to disqualification.

Overview of Nyeri County

This is one of the most blessed counties in Kenya with regards to coffee, tea farming and other agricultural ventures. Situated in the central region of the country, Nyeri has over 700,000 residents based on the last census.

The County Government is committed to socio-economic development, Agric-business, empowerments and overall well-being of citizens. Sequel to this, a body like the County Public Service Board was established to help with relevant administrative functions, advise and offer recommendations to the Government as well etc.

As part of the County Government strategy to curb unemployment, internship opportunities are offered on a year basis to fresh graduates to enable them gain relevant work experience and build better capacity for the labour market.

The internship programme is set to last for a minimum of twelve (12) months i.e. one (1) year and selected persons must be available full-time throughout this period.

Eligibility Requirements and Qualifications

To present yourself worthy of selection, endeavour to adhere to the criteria below.

• Youths interested in this internship programme must be indigenes of Kenya with proof of identity such as National ID or Passport etc.
• The acceptable age range is 18 – 35 years.
• Applicant must have complete an undergraduate degree program within the last three (3) years at an accredited tertiary institution.
• Candidate shall provide an introduction letter from the institution he or she attended.
• Should have a good command of both English and Kiswahili languages, interpersonal, analytical and ICT skills etc.

First, eligible candidates are to visit the county jobs portal www.nyeri.go.ke/adinterns to download and carefully complete the internship application form.

Then attach copies of relevant academic and professional certificates, National Identity Card or Passport and send via courier or hand deliver to:
