The Kericho County shortlisted candidates 2026 is out. County Government of Kericho have published a PDF on their official careers portal containing names of shortlisted applicants and interview schedule for the just concluded recruitment exercise.

Shortlisted applicants are requested to report to the screening venue with the following documents:

National Identity Card/Passport
Academic and professional certificates
Professional Registration Certificates (if any)
Appointment/Promotion Letters from previous employer
Clearance certificate from Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
Certificate of Good Conduct from Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI)
A valid Credit Reference Bureau and any other supporting documents etc.

Over 70 applicants have been shortlisted and the interview is scheduled to take place from Wednesday, 28th January 2026 till Tuesday, 17th February, 2026 at the Kericho County Government Public Service Board office.

Eligibility Criteria for Kericho County Shortlist

It is one thing to apply for Kericho County recruitment exercise and another thing to make it to the shortlist. Here are the key criteria used to select applicants.

Fundamentally, shortlisted applicant must be a Kenyan citizen.
He or she must have a valid National Identity Card or Passport.
Candidate must have successfully submitted application for at least one vacancy advertised by the County Public Service Board.
Must possess the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) and other qualifications specified for the position applied for.
Applying for multiple position, after stipulated deadline or canvassing in any form will result to automatic disqualification.
